Wajdan Raza teaches as Senior Lecturer Communication at the Institute of Business Management, Karachi, Pakistan. He has earned an MA English Linguistics from the University of Karachi and an EIL (Certificate) from King’s College London. He is also a recipient of KINGS Award 2010 from the King’s College London. His PhD in sociolinguistics is in progress from the University Sains Malaysia. Wajdan Raza has worked in the fields of language assessment and English phonology with a particular emphasis on Pakistani English and its validity in teaching in local contexts.
